Thank you

We just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone that has been involved with hellohead and who came along to the event on Wednesday. hellohead started way back in February and all the hard work really paid off, we had a great night! We were thrilled that so many people came along and of course the generous nature of you all!

A massive thanks to all the artists who took part in the portrait swap, without you there would be no hellohead. The portraits and silent auction went down a treat creating some very tactical bidding and raising a fantastic stack of cash for the National Autistic Society. The winners have been contacted so congratulations if you were a lucky bidder!

A huge thank you to all the artists who drew on the night, the results were brilliant and everyone loved it. Thank you to Lizzie Lay for creating the fabulous giant cardboard frame photo set and to Prop Stylist Carrie Louise for the extra prop donations. A big thanks to photographers Vee and Sam for taking the brilliant photos on the night, which you can see here & here. Thank you to all the artists that donated their lovely wares for the pop up shop too.

A special thanks to Cargo for housing hellohead in their amazing space, thanks also to our fantastic sponsors Creativepool for all their support. Huge thanks to Ripe Digital for printing the portraits, I Dress Myself for printing the limited edition Marcus Oakley NAS Tea Towel, Fedrigoni and One Digital for donating lovely A5 card for the live art and finally to Soundmasters  for the lighting.

Thank you also to the wonderful Bread Collective  & Zeena Shah  for putting on a brilliant workshop the following day for children with Autism & Asperger syndrome. The masks and screen printing went down brilliantly, you can see the project here.

We are proud to announce that the grand total raised so far for the National Autistic Society is over £2,000!

If you fancy a memento from the event we do have some limited edition Marcus Oakley Tea Towels left which you can buy here for £10, or email us here.

Thanks again and have a great week,
Lucy & Rosie
